Trackbuster is an anonymizer that allows you to connect through an anonymous and encrypted connection to the Internet.
You personally associated IP address will be replaced by an IP address from the Trackbuster network. Since Trackbuster does not log any connection data, a trace to your personal IP address is prevented.

The duration of usage can be chosen between 1-12 Month by prepaid procedure. The costs per month are competitively priced 5 Euros.
After the expiry of your membership your account is automatically terminated and you do not need extra cancellation.

When connected to the web, your computer communicates by an explicit address, the so called IP address. This address is directly assigned to your identity, so every internet provider can backtrack your personal identity.
Even your internet service provider (ISP) can determine which websites you are visiting or which data (music, movies, pictures) you are downloading.
Your surfing habits and your data will be disclosed to everyone, your anonymity and privacy on the Internet is lost.
You have a right to privacy, even if you are on the Internet. Prevent the monitoring and recording of your Internet activities by anonymizing your Internet connection with Trackbuster and prevent such abuse of your personal data.

If you are connected to a public wireless network (e.g. Hospot, Internetcafé, airport, etc.) the operator of the network can easily track your data traffic.
Use Trackbuster to ensure that your Internet connection is always encrypted and thus secured for third party interception.

To anonymize your data, Trackbuster operates a network of VPN servers.
A VPN uses a common network connection as a carrier for an encrypted network connection. This technique is called "tunneling".
After logging in to the Trackbuster network, you are using an IP address from the Trackbuster network and an encrypted connection to surf the web. Thus, backtracking of the downloaded data is prevented.

The new german law "zur Neuregelung der Telekommunikationsüberwachung und anderer verdeckten Ermittlungsmaßnahmen sowie zur Umsetzung der Richtlinie 2006/24/EG" became effective on January 1st, 2008 obliged Internet access services (including services such as anonymizer like Trackbuster) not later than 01 January 2009 to save traffic data for 6 months.
These traffic data are:
- The user-assigned IP address (the IP address from the Trackbuster network
- A unique identifier of the conection the Internet usage is established (that is your "real" (ISP) IP address)
- The start and endtime of your session using the assigned (Trackbuster) IP address (specifying the used time zone)
Trackbuster is explicitly not comitted to store content, that is the transmitted data (requested files, pages, etc.). The data you request while using Trackbuster will not be logged!
Your privacy ranks first for us. Therefore Trackbuster will not log any connection data before January 1st 2009.
Furthermore Trackbuster Ltd & Co KG will participate in the complaint of unconstitutionality of this law brought in by the Arbeitskreis Vorratsdatenspeicherung (www.vorratsdatenspeicherung.de).
